Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill can help you and your financial advisors develop a planned gift that meets your philanthropic and financial goals. Consider the following options:

Charitable Bequest
Remembering us in your estate plan or last will and testament allows you to donate any gift of your choosing to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. Whether you bequest your money, belongings, or a percentage of your estate, you can assist future RMH of Chapel Hill children in need while bypassing potential estate and income taxes. Below is some sample language to include in your will.
A life insurance policy that you own but no longer need can make a practical gift to the RMH of Chapel Hill. Whether you choose to name us as beneficiary or owner of your life insurance, you will eliminate any taxes on the policy.
Most retirement plan assets face double taxation. Any assets that were funded with pretax dollars and remain in a retirement plan may be hit with both estate and income taxes. Specific Bequest

I give to Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, Inc., the sum of _______________ Dollars and no/ 100 ($_________.00), in cash or in kind, (could include a stated percentage or fraction of estate) to be used in the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, Inc. Endowment, and used for the charitable objects and purposes as set forth in the Gift Acceptance Policy of Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, which purposes are by this reference incorporated herein.

Residuary Bequest

I give to Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, Inc. the residue of my estate to be used in the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, Inc. Endowment and used for the charitable objects and purposes as set forth in the Gift Acceptance Policy of Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, which purposes are by this reference incorporated herein.
